Tap a verb. The robot does it.
We are the robotics club at GIIS Singapore. Since 2017 we have built robots, broken them, fixed them and built them again. Season 2026 – 27 is underway.
- 1Antenna. Mostly for looks.
- 2Head unit. The eyes follow you.
- 3Chassis. Cut, re-cut, re-cut again.
- 4Shoulder servo. Stalls at the worst moment.
- 5Battery. Charge it the night before.
- 6Tracks. Will find every cable on the floor.
- 7Bolts. One is always left over.
We touch real parts, not simulations. Motors, sensors, solder and the code that moves them. Things will break. That is the point. Then we fix them, and start the next build the day after.
Aeroforge, 27–28 November.
Every team gets the same motor, speed controller, propeller and servo kit, then designs and builds its own foam glider. It hangs from a mast under a carriage on a steel tube about 3 m up. It never flies free: the pilot steers by banking. With the Aviation & Astronomy Club.

Our operating system has four commands.
1 of 4Build.
Real parts, real code.
Members touch real components, not simulations. Motors, sensors and solder, and the software that makes them move. No purely mechanical showpieces.
2 of 4Break.
Failure is programmed in.
Our events are designed so that things breaking is part of the experience, not an embarrassment. A broken robot teaches faster than a finished one.
3 of 4Obsess.
The tenth test run.
Cleaner wiring, tighter tolerances, one more pass over the code. The difference between a robot that works and one that wins is the detail nobody asked for.
4 of 4, then 1Repeat.
Iteration, in public.
We show the second and third attempt, not only the trophy shot. The fix is the story, and the next build starts the day after the last one.
What ends up in your hands.
Motors and sensors in the workshop. Foamboard, servos and CAD for Aeroforge. Code for all of it.
Missions, 2026 – 27.

RC-OS is the whole club as a terminal: the live Aeroforge circuit, the crew, a file system, snake, and REV on the command line.
